Meet the Trainer

Eric Johnson

Eric began his fitness career at the age of 6 when he started training in Martial Arts eventually earning his black belt in Tae Kwon Do at the age of 16.  Over the past 34 years  he has studied several styles of Martial Arts including Tae Kwon Do, Thai Boxing, Jiu Jitsu, and Modernized Philippine Martial Arts. 

It is partly the lessons and discipline learned over the years that drove him to want to help others in the health and fitness arena.

His drive to educate himself about the human body has helped him to excel in many different sports and educational courses. 

His experience has been forged through many formal educational courses including certifications from 24 Hour Fitness, ISSA, AFFA, RKC, Evolution Fitness Coaching, Eat to Perform and Z-Health along with the reading, studying, and the practical application of other valuable source materials.

Over the past 19 years with this vast knowledge base in hand he has helped hundreds of Stockton residents lose fat, build leaner stronger bodies, helped athletes improve their sports performance and many people successfully manage and get rid of aches and pains that they just figured they would have to live with. 

 

Learning about the human body and how it works, interacts, and changes with the surrounding environment has led him to become one of the country’s best personal fitness coaches.  Taking a principled, neuro-centric approach to fitness training, enables him to work with many people from all walks of life aiding them in their fitness endeavors.

The Health and Fitness industry is constantly changing and adapting.  Eric’s goal is to educate people about health and fitness while ridding them of the “quick fix” mindset that has been propagated by the propaganda that so many people are exposed to on a daily basis through infomercials, radio and print claims and any other misinformation that is created to take money from them. 

These successes have helped create healthier and more functional bodies for his clients, that perform better in the real world and not just in the artificial environment of the Gym. 

He wants people to understand that there is a difference between fitness in the gym and real world fitness, the two are not the same and it takes an expert like Eric to help people separate the two.
